Goldcrest High, Latur is an initiative of Vilasrao Deshmukh Foundation (VDF) that aims to provide to its pupils a learning and an education that will guide them through their lives. The young men and women who l emerge from its portals will stand out as global citizens who are competent yet compassionate, eager to be an integral part of the New India. The learning environment at Goldcrest High, Latur revolves around the children and their needs, challenging them to reach beyond themselves, to take responsibility for their own growth and to allow for creative expression. The opening year of our school coincides with the 150th birth anniversary of India's pioneering educationist and Nobel Laureate, Shri Rabindranath Tagore, to whose vision this year is especially dedicated. His philosophy and writings on education are an inspiration for all those who seek true freedom in thought, word and action.
